A clean line in four steps

Most bleed comes from an edge that was never pressed down. Here's the whole routine.

  1. A hand laying blue tape along a wall

    Lay it straight

Unroll a little at a time along the line.

  2. A putty knife pressing down the edge of the tape

    Press the edge

Run a putty knife along it to seal.

  3. A roller painting navy over the top of the tape

    Paint over it

Roll onto the tape, two thin coats.

  4. Tape being peeled away to show a sharp line between navy and white

    Peel it back

Pull low and slow while paint is soft.
